The final presentation we had to do consisted of 20 slides, 20 seconds per slide. I carried on my presentation from the last one I did, giving everything a summary still. The overall feedback I got at the end was extremely positive. It was emphasised how I have used the research from my dissertation and applied it to all of my other projects since doing it. Another good point was that all of my projects show a link between each other, that no project stood out on its own. Judging from all of this, I feel I have managed to accomplish a lot throughout this year, and apply a lot of what I have learnt into my projects as I went along. I feel I couldn’t have done much more to everything in my work, and from the positive feedback I have got from everyone, it is evident I have put in a lot of hard work and effort to hopefully get the grades I have worked hard to get.
We did a Pecha Kucha in order to show everyone where we were in the design process and what we had left still to do. The idea of this is to evaluate ourselves within a specific time frame, which is beneficial because it tells others and us whether our project makes sense or not.
My feedback was very positive, the main point I noticed was how different the elements of my design was, especially the posters and the Ishihara logo. As we were evaluating my work, we discussed that my whole project is different, and it was noted that my posters showed that because there is no ‘model’, it shows there is no limit to who can wear the clothing, which was a very good point made by one of the students.
I also got feedback by my work colleagues; I work in design and marketing based in London. The feedback I got from them with my style guide and the overall appearance was extremely positive, they mentioned the whole layout was very professional, and that there was a lot of detail in everything.
The feedback I have been given has been very encouraging, knowing that I have considered every element in my work, and that my idea was obviously showing that it was different, complimenting the whole idea of my project!
