I went to think about what I could design for my own logo. My logo I want it to be a lot different in comparison to Vivienne Westwood’s logo design. I took a few notes and got onto divergent and convergent thinking about my logo design, labeling what I liked and anything that could help trigger my thoughts into making something.
I came up with a few different names for myself also, but as I was drawing my logos, it appeared that ‘Emily Alldis Design’ seemed to work the best for the initials in drawing a logo. My logo I want it to be kept simple so that it would be suitable anywhere and will not take up too much unnecessary space. I really liked the idea of having the ‘E A D’ merging together to create an abstract logo, however I did not like the logo of my own and writing at all. I feel it looks unprofessional and messy.
I did look up different logos that involved having a camera in with my logo. The only issue with this is I don’t want customers looking at my logo and assuming I only do photography in design. although the thought of it could be good, it could limit the amount of clients I would get, especially if I was not very well known to start with.
